- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Allow it to foam for about 10 minutes.
- Add flour, egg, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the dough into a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Once risen, turn dough onto a floured surface and roll into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Slice into eight strips.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, and cinnamon. Spread over each dough strip and roll tightly into pinwheels.
