Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Allow it to foam for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add flour, egg, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the dough into a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  4. Once risen, turn dough onto a floured surface and roll into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Slice into eight strips.
  5. In a mixing bowl, stir together strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, and cinnamon. Spread over each dough strip and roll tightly into pinwheels.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a towel, and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 35 to 38 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually mix in confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls once they are out of the oven and slightly cooled.
