Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt until foamy.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Place skin side up in the skillet and sear for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet; tent with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the now-empty skillet, pour in fresh orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry, whisk, and stir for 30-60 seconds until the glaze thickens.
  7. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and coat them with the glaze for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh orange slices, parsley, or sesame seeds.
