  2. In a bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and brown sugar until fluffy.

  4. Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the baking pan.
  5. Pour caramel sauce over the crust evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the caramel layer.
  7. Crumble the remaining dough on top without compacting.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
