Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 425ºF (220ºC).
- Whisk together the eggs in a large mixing bowl until frothy. Add in pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, and spices, blending until smooth. Gradually whisk in evaporated milk.
- Pour the filling into an unbaked pie shell on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 425ºF (220ºC) for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 350ºF (175ºC) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes until filling is set with a slight jiggle.
- Cool the pie on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.
