- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C). Line a plate with paper towels to drain fried onion balls.
- Dice onions finely and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix chopped onions with flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Gradually add milk to form a thick batter. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
