Cooking Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper; add them to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 4 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until fragrant. Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and sprinkle in ½ cup of Parmesan cheese along with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir everything and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer for another 3-5 minutes. Optionally, stir in 1 tablespoon of butter until melted and well incorporated.
- Plate the chicken with spoonfuls of sauce on top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Notes
For consistent sauce thickness, add chicken broth or cream if too thick. Avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking chicken.
