  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can be swapped with butter.
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic Use fresh minced garlic; do not brown.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Vegetable broth can be used for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Coconut cream or cashew cream can be used for a dairy-free version.
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated is best.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
For Added Richness
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Optional, for added flavor.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper; add them to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 4 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until fragrant. Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and sprinkle in ½ cup of Parmesan cheese along with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir everything and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer for another 3-5 minutes. Optionally, stir in 1 tablespoon of butter until melted and well incorporated.
  5. Plate the chicken with spoonfuls of sauce on top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Notes
