- In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 6–8 minutes until browned and crumbly.
- Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Then, add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30–45 seconds.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, hot sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
- Pour the hot honey sauce over the cooked beef mixture, stir to coat, and simmer for about 3–4 minutes until thickened.
- To serve, spoon warm rice into bowls, top with ground beef mixture, and arrange vegetables alongside. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
