Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 6–8 minutes until browned and crumbly.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Then, add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30–45 seconds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, hot sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  4. Pour the hot honey sauce over the cooked beef mixture, stir to coat, and simmer for about 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  5. To serve, spoon warm rice into bowls, top with ground beef mixture, and arrange vegetables alongside. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
