Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the coconut oil and let it cool slightly. Add in the mashed ripe bananas, eggs, honey, and maple syrup. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently fold until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Blend the cream cheese and almond butter until smooth. Gradually add maple syrup to taste.
