  3. Gradually add flour to the wet mixture, mixing until crumbly. Reserve two-thirds for the base and set aside the rest.
  4. Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg in a separate bowl until evenly coated.
  5. Press the reserved crumble mixture into the bottom of the lined pan to form an even layer. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Spread the spiced apple mixture over the crust, then drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  7. Sprinkle the reserved crumble topping over the apples and caramel. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
