Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cast iron skillet with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients, mixing on low speed until combined. Fold in half of the chocolate chips.
  6. Press half of the dough into the bottom of the skillet, leaving a border for the Nutella.
  7. Add a generous layer of Nutella in the center, then cover with the remaining dough and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly jiggly in the center.
  9. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving, ideally warm.
