Method
 

Preparation

  2. Add the ribeye or sirloin steak to the marinade and coat thoroughly; let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
  5. Remove the steak and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the tortellini according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. In the skillet used for the steak, add a bit more olive oil and sauté the vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat, add the cooked tortellini, and toss with sliced steak and vegetables.
  9. Plate the dish, garnish with herbs like parsley or basil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
