Equipment

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the halved baby potatoes, making sure they are in a single layer for even cooking. Season with salt and pepper, then cook undisturbed for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown and fork-tender.
  2. Once the potatoes are perfectly cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter, allowing it to melt over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer, searing them for 2-3 minutes per side until they are golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt. Immediately add the freshly minced garlic, stirring continuously and sautéing for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant and soft.
  4. Return the juicy steak bites and crispy baby potatoes to the skillet, tossing everything in the delicious garlic butter sauce. Allow them to cook together for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Once combined, turn off the heat and transfer the Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes to a serving platter. Finish by garnishing with freshly chopped parsley.

Ensure potatoes are cut uniformly and do not overcrowd the skillet when searing steak to achieve a perfect golden-brown crust. Let steak rest before cutting to retain juices.
