  2. Cook Pasta: In a large pot, boil salted water, add penne pasta, and cook until al dente (10-12 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add chicken, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Transfer chicken to a plate.
  4. Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add broccoli and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. Make Sauce: Lower the heat, add heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and thyme until melted and slightly thickened (2-3 minutes).
  6. Combine: Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet, toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
