Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning on both sides. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  3. Boil salted water and cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted, add spaghetti and toss to coat. Stir in reserved pasta water as needed. Fold in sliced chicken.
  6. Serve on plates, garnish with parsley and more Parmesan if desired. Enjoy while hot.
