Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, mix together ground cinnamon and granulated sugar until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle a portion of the cinnamon sugar mixture across the bottom.
  3. Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the greased pan, sealing any seams for a smooth crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the dough layer in the pan, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough over the cheesecake filling, sealing the seams as you go.
  7. Melt butter and drizzle it over the top layer. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before chilling for at least 3 hours.
