Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, mix together ground cinnamon and granulated sugar until well combined. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle a portion of the cinnamon sugar mixture across the bottom.
- Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the greased pan, sealing any seams for a smooth crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the dough layer in the pan, smoothing it out evenly.
- Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough over the cheesecake filling, sealing the seams as you go.
- Melt butter and drizzle it over the top layer. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before chilling for at least 3 hours.
