Equipment

  • large pot
  • Large Skillet
  • 9x13-inch baking dish

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 ounces of spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta thoroughly.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 pound of ground beef. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in 1 packet of taco seasoning mix and 1 cup of salsa. Mix well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the meat mixture and half of the shredded cheeses. Repeat the layering process.
  5. Spread ½ cup of sour cream over the final cheese layer.
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then slice into squares and serve.
