Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soften the cream cheese in a mixing bowl at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Blend with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in milk for desired consistency and chill.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment. Roll out puff pastry to ¼ inch thick, cut into 8 strips, and form rings.
  3. Fill the center of each pastry ring with blueberry preserves, leaving space at the edges to prevent spillage.
  4. Beat the egg and brush the wash around the edges of each ring for a golden finish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky. Cool on a wire rack.
  6. Once cooled, fill each ring with chilled vanilla cream and garnish with fresh blueberries and powdered sugar.
