- Soften the cream cheese in a mixing bowl at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Blend with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in milk for desired consistency and chill.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment. Roll out puff pastry to ¼ inch thick, cut into 8 strips, and form rings.
- Fill the center of each pastry ring with blueberry preserves, leaving space at the edges to prevent spillage.
- Beat the egg and brush the wash around the edges of each ring for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky. Cool on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, fill each ring with chilled vanilla cream and garnish with fresh blueberries and powdered sugar.
