  • 2 cups Bell Peppers any color
  • 1 medium Onion or shallots for milder flavor
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • ¼ cup Oyster Sauce or hoisin sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger fresh or powdered
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch for sauce gloss
  • ½ cup Chicken Stock
  • 2 tablespoons Water
Optional Toppings
  • ¼ cup Chopped Green Onions for garnish
  • Hot Sauce to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken stock, cornstarch, and water in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Marinate the beef by tossing sirloin tips with a pinch of salt and a splash of the sauce mixture, allowing to sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Sear the beef in a hot wok or skillet with vegetable oil, cooking for about 2 minutes until browned.
  4. Cook the vegetables in the same pan, stir-frying bell peppers and onion for 2 minutes, then adding garlic and ginger for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine the prepared sauce with the cooked vegetables, stirring for 2 minutes until thickened, then mix in the beef.
  6. Finish by topping with green onions and optional hot sauce, and serve over rice or noodles.
