Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Gather all ingredients.
  2. Whisk the eggs until frothy in a large mixing bowl. Add pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
  3. Gradually pour in the evaporated milk while mixing until smooth.
  4. Position the unbaked pie shell on a baking sheet and pour in the pumpkin filling.
  5. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
  7. Cool the pie for about 2 hours at room temperature.
  8. Slice and serve, optionally topped with whipped cream.
