- In a small bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise. Add sugar, salt, fresh dill, and vinegar. Mix until smooth.
- Thinly slice the onion and soak in cold water for 10 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
- Cook pasta in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Slice cucumbers in half lengthwise, scoop out seeds, and cut into thin half-moons.
- In a large bowl, combine pasta, onions, and cucumbers. Pour dressing over and toss gently to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 40 minutes before serving.
