Step-by-Step Instructions for One Pan Cheesy Tuna Pasta
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-low heat. Add thinly sliced onions and sauté for about 6-8 minutes until they soften and turn translucent.
  2. Pour in 1 can of chopped tomatoes along with 1 cup of hot water, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Stir and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in 250 grams of pasta, ensuring it's submerged in the sauce. Increase the heat to high, and bring to a rolling boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and allow the pasta to simmer gently for 14 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Once pasta is cooked, remove from heat. Gently fold in 1 can of drained tuna and 150 grams of crème fraîche until fully blended.
  6. Return to low heat and fold in approximately 150 grams of mozzarella cheese until fully melted.
  7. Plate your One Pan Cheesy Tuna Pasta and garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
