Preparation Instructions
  1. Begin by preparing your crab meat—if using fresh crab, gently pick through to remove any shells. For imitation crab, shred the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Finely dice the celery and green onion, and chop your choice of fresh herbs like dill or parsley.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, and Dijon mustard, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the prepared crab meat, diced celery, and green onion together.
  5. Pour the creamy dressing over the top and carefully fold until the crab is evenly coated.
  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Before serving, adjust seasoning as needed and serve in your preferred dishes.
